Baby Craze
Last time: Ahryl became a leafy, green plantsim and made some money by digging and harvesting her tomato, apple, lemon, and orange crops. Ois (by maranatah) got a gold fishing badge and caught a bunch of fish. The couple had a super cute baby boy named Celder with adorable pointy ears.
This time the family will add a few more members, and those members will grow up and melt your heart with their cuteness! And of course, farming & fishing will be done.
Ois thought it would be a good idea to take a hike in the crisp air of early spring, but clearly he was wrong.
Back at home, Ahryl gave birth to twins! Twin girls in fact, which is great because they needed to have a girl to complete the generation 1 goals. Their names: Wylla and Vesper.
Not too long later, Ahryl rolled a want to have a baby plantsim, so she did. And it's a boy named Hemlock. He's my first plantsim baby ever and I think he's pretty cute too.
With the birth of Hemlock, there was a grand total of 4 kids in the house. I tend to keep my families pretty small, so this was a big adjustment for me! But Celder and Hemlock got along pretty well and shared their parents' time and their toys. My sims always get along really well, so next generation is going to be rough because one of the optional goals is to have the heir become enemies with the parent. That's going to be hard for me to endure! Especially since the generation 2 kids all have a great relationship with their parents so far. So sad!
Celder had a birthday and finally got his green dots and some hair! He's a rambunctious little guy who's always rough-housing with someone or something.
But when he does finally fall asleep, he's so serene and peaceful. He usually sleeps with Ois in the big bed since Ahryl never needs to sleep.
And the twins had their first birthday. The cuteness is almost too much for me to handle! Vesper is the one with yellow hair like daddy Ois, and Wylla has her mommy's white hair (although I later found out that they aren't supposed to have white hair...it's supposed to be purple like someone further up in the pollination exploration project that I did...but more on that in a couple of updates!).
Hemlock had his birthday too, and turned out to be quite the handsome plant-guy!
Having two grown plantsims in the house is even better than having one! Ahryl and Hemlock each took care of a twin, and as a result the twins learned all the their toddler skills in record time. I think I might always have to have a plantsim in my households from now on! I'm not that great at managing my sims' needs, so you can see why plantsims make me so happy.
There was still plenty of time for Celder too. He still likes to dance with his mommy, and he also loves to play football and catch with his big brother Hemlock.
You haven't seen much of Ois during this time because he was busy fishing! He finally caught that golden trout that he needed to complete the goal of catching all of the different types of fish! And here they all are. They proudly hang on their plaques in the family study for all to admire. And now Ois catches those golden trout all the time which really brings in some money.
Time for another birthday for the twins!
And here they are as children. Wylla is as cute as ever, but Vesper is really starting to grow on me. I just love that yellow hair w/ yellow skin combination.
And it looks like Vesper has her mommy's big alien ears, and I think Wylla has Ois' little alien ears.
The twins' relationship got off to a rocky start. Wylla kept trying to hug Vesper all the time, and Vesper was having none of it. They eventually worked things out and became best friends, as my sims tend to do! I don't know why I have a hang up about sims not getting along, but there it is.

With winter finally over, Ahryl got back to her gardening. This time around she planted a bunch of different types of plants and these cucumbers were the first to pop up. One of them is a little over-saturated with water, but it was still thriving so oh well! I need to build her a greenhouse.
And once she got back into her gardening, Ahryl gained max enthusiasm in nature. Another goal completed.
Even with their new-found craziness with all these kids and having to keep up with the farm and somehow make a living without having a real job, Ois and Ahryl still found time to be romantic. But their won't be any more babies for these two! Four is about as many as I can handle. I haven't read all of the generation goals for the future generations, but if any of them make you have a bunch of babies, I'm going to have a heart attack!
