I've had a very positive week on the whole. I had a good gig in Rugby on Thursday for the comedy, and a good poetry gig on Friday in Stony Stratford. My head was a bit marshmallowy for that one as I'd had a filling earlier in the day so a combination of adrenalin-filled anaesthetic, lack of food and a gulp of cider, or two, was not entirely helpful

It might be worth ringing any local animal shelters and so on, too. I sympathise. It's very worrying. I hope she comes home soon.

So very sorry. You might want to look in the immediate vicinity. Apparently cats who are hurt tend to stay close to home. One of our cats was once found in a nearby shed.

Have been calling her and promising milk. There are a lot of gardens at the back - it being a shoetown terraces-type of environment. Probably going to have to knock on doors to get the neighbours to check their gardens. She normally doesn't go very far.
