Let's celebrate! My blog is 19 years old
I still miss livejournal. Or, since it is here, one must acknowledge that like a church might be said to be the building and its people, the structure of livejournal is here. The people and its spirit are not. And I miss the spirit. And being one of its people. I'm not anymore, though. -
I miss LiveJournal
But I came to my Friends Feed, and there's nothing here. And I've been gone a long time, so if there was going to be anything ever, there would have been something. Plus, I do like the impersonal/semi-personal thing on Facebook that's safe for family and the like.
But...somehow there was sure less vitriol here. More genuineness and kindness. Maybe ( Read more... ) -
Exams!
Day 1 of the doctoral exams re-take complete. Two more writtens next week. Gah!

Yeah, I've graduated (fallen) to a smart phone.
I can update lj from my smart phone?! I'm a recent convert to the smart phone, and look: an lj app. I feel like a Beverly Hillbilly, I'm so excited.
