So, I went to the government office today. Sat there for about an hour, and in the end couldn't solve the problem, after all. At least we know now what the problem was, but to solve it, Mum should have a new ID card made, which she does not want to do; not to mention that getting her to the office is less than feasible. For starters, I had to do a food run today because of a shortage of bread and its ilk. The plan is not to do another one until Thursday, but we'll see.
