As I mentioned in the comments to yesterday's entry, Mum is up and hobbling again. She managed to get to the loo with the help of her walking frame and did a great deal of rearranging the knick-knacks, so that the cleaning lady can work properly tomorrow. We'll still use the console for the night, but during the day she's pretty much back to her

God, what a scare! I'm so glad it looks right now (fingers crossed!) like it was indeed just a scare from too many treatments at once, but holy shit. I know how frightening such things are when your parent is at that certain age.
I hope you will have the time to recover and treat yourself to something nice as a breather.
