Happy Solstice to all of you who are celebrating it!I've decorated and put up the artificial monstrosity otherwise known as our Christmas tree today. It isn't custom in our family to do so before Christmas Eve, but I didn't want to be dead on my feet on that day, so I thought a couple of days earlier won't be such a breach in the centuries-old

it´s always so funny when just before Christmas laundry seems to double!

Especially when one's mother suddenly realizes that all doilies need to be changed... and that in the last possible minute. I'm so fed up with being the slave of this flat. :(

Little jobs can mount up to a lot of time. Your tree looks lovely and I like the idea that all the ornaments are hand made by you. It makes it very special.

That is how I prefer my Christmas tree... even though I still have no idea where the prettiest felt ornaments are hiding.

We did the tree today as I also didn't want to do it on Christmas Eve and tomorrow is pre-cooking for the 24th as well ... so ...
