Another three sorts of Christmas biscuits are done: Italian pistachio cookies, marzipan pretzels and orange cookies. The latter ones should have been baked in paper capsules, which I didn't get in the right size, so I thought mini muffin baking tins ought to do the trick. They did not. Oh dear. Maybe you could stick them in a cellophane bag, tie them with a bow, and call them orange crumbles?

I think even your family would like these marzipan pretzels. Mum and I both hate marzipan, but we both love these pretzels. I can give you the recipe if you want to give them a try. Even if the family doesn't like them, they keep for weeks and weeks in a well-sealed tin box, so you can have your delight of them for a long time.
