What a shame that the Dampfnudel was so bland. But at least a good base for more interesting sauces!

And that card is really nice - I admire your patience in making them.

I find paper embroidery relaxing - except when the metallic thread decides it wants to go in directions I don't want it to go. Or when it snaps. Or develops snarls at every other stitch. *g*

I'm so happy to hear that the temperatures are coming down to a manageable level for you. It's positively cold here and my bedroom window has been covered in condensation in the mornings.
