A quiet day

Just the way I like them. No cooking or other household chores, no need to leave the house, but lots of crafting and writing. Well, if I say lots... anyway, some crafting and writing at least.

Since Mum volunteered to make Faschiertes today, and we had leftover soup and salad from two days ago, I could use my spare time for things that I actually ( Read more... )

Maybe try a different vid? I sometimes want to watch a thing in a language I don't speak and I've noticed not all vids come with subtitles. Probably the person uploading has to include that as an option for the viewers and it doesn't seem to be automatic.

I've tried that, but none of the vids have working subtitles at the moment. Not even those who had them previously. I hope it rights itself eventually.

I know, thanks. It was just so that the - theoretically - available subtitles were unavailable all evening. They seem to be back now, so I hope it was just a glitch.

I haven't noticed an issue with YouTube, but it may depend on the languages involved. I'm usually going from Mandarin to English.

Thanks. Subtitles are back, it was apparently a glitch. I was watching short things in English, like crafting tutorials or Neil Sean's Breaking News, but I need to see English in written form to recognize the words I theoretically know.

No problems with Youtube here. I did my daily travel across Japan with English subtitles as usual. No way I'll ever be able to understand Japanese language...
