Thank you Professor Raine for addressing about the play and about these open classes, I would be happy to have non-students in my class along with the students. So I do firmly believe that you've discussed is an excellent idea for the school.

You're welcome. I know that you're always seeking new students, so I hoped this would be a good way to open them up for more people. How are your preparations going?

They are going well, I'm glad this play is going along so smoothly. Hopefully we have it done in no time.

There are a lot of talented people in the village, including yourself. I'm sure it will be fine.

I think while the journals could be used as an open forum, it's much nicer speaking face-to-face or with a group of people. Not just words or voices and little faces over a book.

I'd be quite interested in the Open Classes myself.

I'm glad to see it. I can only hope more people will end up sharing that opinion as well. I've had a few new ideas I've wanted to put into practice for the new semester, but time will tell to see if they work out.

[There's also the fact meetings held in person means information the Malnosso can't monitor, but that isn't exactly a statement to be made over the journal, now is it.]

The only way is to find out. I'm certainly interested in the world sharing class and I'll take whatever help I can get with magic. How long are the classes usually?

[Raine knows that fact rather well; it's why she usually doesn't have lengthy journal conversations.]

Indeed.

Right now, they're usually around forty-five minutes long or so.

[Knock knock on your office door.]

[She's in the process of cleaning up a little. The office is fairly empty, since she cleaned it out before the summer, but disuse invites dust.]

Hm? Come on in.

[She'll just open the door and lean in the doorway. No sense getting in the way of Raine's cleaning.]

Too busy for company?

Hm? Not at all. There's not much left to do in here.

[Zenigata's recent conversation with Rydia has actually sparked an interest in this]

Say...would any of these open classes be related to cooking?

Cooking...?

Ah, not exactly. The classes referred to are the Music, Magic and the World Sharing courses that are already available at the school. However, Sanji does give cooking lessons at the Seventh Heaven restaurant on Sunday, if you were interested in that.

[Music eh...]

Hey, that works too. Miss Rydia mentioned there may be cooking classes at the school is all, figured I'd follow through. I might pop my head in sometime then. Music sounds fun.

If we didn't ask questions, we wouldn't find answers, so that's all right. Once classes begin, you're certainly welcome to stop by.

[A much...younger sounding Iroh voice pops through the journal]

Ms. Sage I'd be happy to participate the World Sharing classes, as we discussed previously. I managed to get quite a bit of information before my abduction.

And music as well, haha

[It takes her a moment to register who the voice belongs to, but it's not long to put two and two together after he mentions his abduction.]

Ah, Iroh. I was hoping to hear from you about that, so I appreciate you speaking up.

Are you all right?

More or less, waking up 30 years younger is a little jarring but I've talked things out with some folks and everything seems to be in order.

And yourself? Zuko tells me there was a draft.

I can imagine so, especially if you're still mentally your current age. As for me, I'm well enough. The drafts can do a number on ordinary routines even if they're only a few days long.
