More or less, waking up 30 years younger is a little jarring but I've talked things out with some folks and everything seems to be in order.

I can imagine so, especially if you're still mentally your current age. As for me, I'm well enough. The drafts can do a number on ordinary routines even if they're only a few days long.

We weren't able to get a look at the contents themselves, though I suspect that it has to do with the supplies that keep the village functioning.

Yes, quite a bit. We were traveling by sea, so at first there were battles across the ships. Once we landed, the fighting became more typical of our encounters, though somewhat more managable than it had been in the jungle conditions.
