[Thanks to the rain, Caesar gets to do a whole lot of nothing today, and he is perfectly fine with that. He'll probably have spent a good part of his day in his room, keeping to himself (but totally not avoiding people - he swears there's a difference).

Eventually, he'll wander into the living room and lay down on the couch, because... well. Why not? He's idly flipping through his journal and pretending he didn't read (or hear) Raine's mention of school. Sigh.]

[She'll probably pass by him before she gets over to the dining room, so of course she'll stop when she notices.]

Enjoying your day of rest?

[He looks up when he hears her voice and shuts his journal, placing it on the table. He shrugs slightly.]

How could I not? Every day should be like this.

[This will come much later, during a noticeable break in the thunder and lightning. It's safe to say she's been hiding under a blanket until then]

Raine?

I suppose it's been a little too long, but I thought it was important to have something said.

Hopefully. But I can imagine they'll be busy with other things.

Quite a lot, unless people have moved in already without my notice.

If you only read it yesterday, it should be fine. I just thought it would be better to make an official announcement about it, in case others weren't aware of the update.

[Concerned.]

...the children don't have anyone to help them currently?

They're capable of looking after themselves, and I've been looking in on them, of course, since I live nearby. I'd just prefer if there were an adult or so in the actual building with them, in the case that there are other children that might arrive during this cycle and need a place to be directed to. I'm not certain if the adults that live there currently have any mind to do so ...

Hm....

I have a place but to be honest, it's a bit too big for me. I hadn't thought of moving, but if it would help them, I have to consider it.

Take your time. Even though these aren't quite our homes, we do become accustomed to the areas we occupy. I'm just glad you're willing to consider it.
