okay so i request books through the library very often.. and the longest i've had to wait for something was for Guiliani's book Leadership, when i was astounded to find i was number 230-something on the list. today i just requested the new harry potter, since god knows i will never have $40 to spend buying my own copy. and i am now number 1,947 on ( Read more... )

no kidding, i might just look for that... or i might try reserving the book on CD instead, i could transcribe my own copy faster i bet.

Nah, people do that shit all the time with scanners and whatever. I bet I can have a txt file of it by next weekend :)

it's nice to know that someone out there has the time to sit and scan 900 pages of a book... means i'm not the most pathetic person on this planet. yet.
i dare you to find it within two weeks :)

I'm gonna buy it tonight, I think. So whenever I finish reading it, you can borrow all you wish.

God only knows when I'll be done, but I'm sure it'll be a lot quicker than waiting around for the library system to get it to you.
