I am in California, in a spare cube, my brain FULL of high-hardware and deep-crypto. I am very happy.

The boulevard trees have white blossoms. Now. In October.

I am quite smart, in case I hadn't mentioned it.

El Camino is ridiculous, yeah. A highway that goes straight through, like, twenty different densely populated townships should not restart its numbering at every township border.

And those trees may very well still be blossoming in January. Welcome to the Land of No Seasons. :)

I remember my first business trip that involved renting a car. It was to Canada which made it even more out-of-body-weird, especially once I got on the road. Though, I didn't have the strange experience of... flowering trees in October.
