As if the potassium/electrolyte issue was not enough (it really knocked me on my butt), I seem to be developing a raging infection in the lymph edema in my legs.
Sigh.
Good thing I already see the doc tomorrow. -

Home from Chemo
Chemo went fine, but I have come to the conclusion the port is certainly NOT painless. Just convenient. But gods it hurts getting the IV set in ( Read more... ) -

Chemo postponed until tomorrow. Oncology doc ordered me home to rest and has ordered up additional things in my IV prior to the chemo tomorrow - potassium and magnesium for starters.
Now going to my nest like a good peep and staying there at least until Phoenix is home. Then likely to make a gatorade and drug run.

The potassium dose has been halved, but I am to continue taking it. I see a new primary care doc on Monday. I have dismissed the med student. I remain off the Oxybutynin and hydrochlorothiazide until further notice ( Read more... )
