I was exactly the same as you in regards to ONE DROP; I found the song boring and the PV completely uninteresting, and like you I hadn't downloaded anything in a long time. But Rescue is an absolutely fantastic song and the PV is interesting, which makes it all the better. I'm also delighted to see KAT-TUN dancing in it; it's been ages since I've seen KAT-TUN dance in a PV!
All in all I think Rescue, ahem, rescued us both :p

I do feel relieved that I like 'Rescue' as much as I do - this song definitely grabbed my attention. And the dancing in the PV is good - I can't imagine how hard they had to work to actually get synced up like that. In comparison, the dancing in 'One Drop' looks so sloppy, sigh.
I still have to find some time to watch the PV 'making ofs' but at least now I can muster some serious enthusiasm for the calendar and my 'Rescue' singles which have yet to arrive. :D
Yeah, I have high hopes for RESCUE's sales. I didn't like ONE DROP either when I first heard it, but the video made me like it better because of Ueda's nice eyemakeup, Jin's fur and Kame's propensity to spread his legs^_~. These days, I don't have time to get that excited on weekdays, so I've been watching the early leaks of PV's, making etc. With ONE DROP, since I saw it on youtube already; I haven't opened the CDs either. So yes, my CDs are on my shelf too^^
I do like the slow version of ONE DROP that they play on KnS sometimes. I think the song will grow on me as time passes by, because there are some passages that are melancholy. Before, I didn't like Yorokobi no uta when I first heard it. But now I find some of the lines painfully bittersweet.

Well, I definitely thought they all looked very pretty in the OD PV- I do like the glamour look on them quite a bit. I just hated those vehicles and the song isn't exciting enough to wow me on its own merits.

Yes, me too! And like I said - I don't think OD is terrible, it just doesn't grab me at all. *shrug* With English songs, they can grow on me through their lyrics, but since I rarely remember the Japanese lyrics to most KAT-TUN songs, if the music doesn't get me, it doesn't get the second chance that lyrics would provide, which is really a pity!
We're just the same. I feel like I'm losing interest in KAT-TUN and JE altogether but Kame is the one holding me back. and I'm glad i'm not the only one who finds OD boring xD
Heee, I just can't quit Kame, not as long as keeps acting, definitely (even if ahem his projects aren't as engrossing as I would prefer).
I still like KAT-TUN, but I needed something to make me excited about them. It's been a while since I felt that, and honestly I missed that enthusiasm.
(oops, sorry for the double-comment, I'm too sleepy this morning! *yawns*)
