In this case, these were more my mom's baking passion, since some of these are recipes she's been making for as long as I can remember - especially those nut bars and thumbprint cookies. It's just not Christmas without them! I just helped out a bit. There should be another post coming up with some of my own projects in it, when I get a chance! :) They're all delicious!

Heee - to walk into our dining room and see the containers on the sideboard filled with cookies - well, it feels like cookie heaven to me, too! :)

I hope the recipes work out well for you! :) If you make the Nut Bars/Thumbprint cookies, and you have Basic Dough left over, there are a couple other recipes that use the Basic Dough; we just didn't make all of them this year. OH! And if you want to chocolate up the walnut bars, just sprinkle mini-chocolate chips over the crust before you pour the nut mixture over and bake. :)
