My ancient 20GB colour finally died, so I'm stuck making do with a pink 4GB nano. Needless to say, I completely understand the woe of not enough music.
When I do upgrade, though, I think I might do the Touch. 160 is very very shiny and makes me spastic with glee but my MacBook's hard drive is only 120GB, and the idea of checking my flist wherever there is wi-fi is too good to pass up.
The iPod is still sick, and is still crashing my laptop every time I try to mount it. ;______________;

Ack, the horrors! It's terribly painful!
The Touch is incredibly attractive as a machine, but for me, the increased hard drive is just waaaay too valuable for me. I love to carry even a fraction of my enormous music collection around with me because I'm constantly switching among playlists, and the videos! Gah! I can't be without them either. I can get by without wi-fi, but I must have more more more storage. :) (I have a tiny laptop HD, only 40GB, but I have something like 700GB between all my externals - my thirst for more digital storage knows no bounds...)
Someday they will create a Touch with enormous storage, of course they will, and I will be so THERE. :D
I know this is so late, and we've already flailed, but who cares, let's flail some more! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I can't wait for the new KAT-TUN single and the DVD, especially the DVD. :)
it's a bit strange there are no sign of the new releases on hmv yet, but I guess you can still order the first press regular one on yesasia~ or so you just want to use cdjapan?
Ack, I'm sorry about your poor iPod! if I only had 12 GB of music, I think I would go crazy. ._.
but more than that, your iPod is like your friend after a while! and you have your customized settings and your secret playlists (my *Nsync songs are all hidden on a list called 'indie fever lol' ^_^;;;;;), and maybe this is just me, but I save playlists compulsively with dates, because they're like event soundtracks, and they help me remember what things looked and felt like. I hope you can coax your iPod into behaving! ;_;
