Everyone has been buzzing about this, so... From the horse's mouth. I SOOOOO don't know how I feel about this. Seeing George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire could be the most amazing thing ever. Or NOT. Heh. re: brokeback - oh wow, well i personally thought it was passionate and just raw. it may have been shocking at first, but then you see the emotions (in my case , i really did). i actually am not sure if i can rewatch this movie because it really was emotional to me, and it hurts just remembering.

and *sigh*... Yamapi. there is no words.

I have mixed feelings about ASoIaF being filmed, but this is absolutely the best possible option if it's going to happen. I'm really just not sure how filmable it really is, but I guess we'll find out. I just hope the TV series doesn't mean the book series will take even longer to be completed.

And...not only don't I think that scene in BBM was rape, I don't think a "pretty" love scene would have been at all appropriate for those characters at that point in their relationship. It was a hard scene to watch, because it was so emotionally raw and blistering, but I truly believe it had to play out that way.

I will try to remain optimistic with serious reservations re: ASOIAF on HBO. I think the production's effect on the written series is most worrisome.

And I agree with your assessment of the BBM sex scene. Very nicely put!

I was hanging out with a bunch of Korean exchange students at my university tonight, and a few of them were VERY impressed that I referred to Yamashita Tomohisa as Yamapi. ;p

Also, BBM? SO NOT RAPE.

pi sure is veeery pretty! i loved the pics, and i needed the prettiness to distract me from my exams! i so love a guy who can wear eyeliner *stares* and omg it that a bellybutton piercing???? *goggles*

Eeeeeee, I'm so glad you like all the Yamapi pretty! :) I like a guy who can wear eyeliner, too...and YES, PI HAD A NAVEL RING. Sadly, I'm not sure he still has it.
