Perhaps it is because both N and I are very sick right now and I am wheezing like crazy and coughing and having trouble breathing, but reading koalathebear's recent post about being sick in China really touched me. I think she describes very well the difficulties of being in a foreign country without the proficiency that may be expected in a language that is ( Read more... )

I want to be on the JE filter please ^^, even though I'm not big into JE, I love to look at the pretty XD and the occasional fabulous songs!

and will continue to because someone picked up my LJ at one blog aggregator (and lord knows where else)
Silly question: wahat's a blog aggregator??

Apologies for having to do this at all, but things change and I want to feel comfortable chatting in my own LJ.
I totally understand it. *hugs* And OMG! You two, get well soon! *sends some virtual chicken soup^*

Okeedokee, I'll pop you on the filter - and if you ever want off, just let me know. ;)

A blog aggregator is sort of a place people can go to see what's being said in the blogverse and find blog entries/blogs that fit their interests. Sort of like an attempt to index the blogverse, which is ever-expanding. I'm sure it's awesome for people who don't want to have to actually get involved in the blogverse, like you and I have (as producers of content) but rather just want to read what's out there. Only thing is, I hate being picked up. I prefer that people find me through the comms I'm involved in and through mutual friends and now that both google and other places have me in their databases, I'm squicked. I really don't want to go FO but I may end up at half or 3/4 FO depending on what I see show up in public searches. I know that I have zero privacy online, but I'd like to regain a bit through my f-lock without depriving people of things like the dorama reviews and screencaps.

I don't know if I'm in that filter or not, but I would like to be in any filter you create because I like to read your posts ;)

Sorry about the agregator... Once checking the urls through site meter I found something that may have been that, but I'm not sure... how did you discover it?

*hugs* for both of you! Get well soon!!!

I know that I have no privacy in internet land. *shrug* It's just an annoyance that can be solved with the f-lock. Yup, I discovered it thanks to the sitemeter!

Thanks for the hugs! We're doing our best to get better...

Ehhh!!!!

You mean to say that url's on webcounters like sitemeters appear on some index that can be searched via the webcounter service company????

Oh that is so shocking to my paranoid ears!!!

Hmm, but even with the url, if the lj if f-locked then that particular post can't be accessed, right????

Thank you, honey. *hugs you tight* We're trying our best to get better soon. Damn viruses...

Don't worry, you've always been on the filter...you saw the fic challenge, right? :)

In random news, I finally got around to watching the Kanjani8 Kanfuu Fighting PV and OMG, this is not something you should watch while eating or drinking. You're liable to start choking on something if you try doing that. ;)

I KNOW, RIGHT? Heee! OMG it's was so much awesome and squeeworthy...I was trying so hard not to make an idiot of myself while I watched this yesterday with Nic looking over my shoulder...it is DEFINITELY going on my iPod! :D

Ah I hope you feel better soon! Lots of tea always help me over evil colds ^^
And I hope I will be on the JE filter. It is a little scary that sturr said online can be so easily looked up but I think as long as one is aware that there is hardly any privacy it is okay ^^

Yup, we're drinking tea and garlic/ginger chicken soup which is heavenly and soo soothing.

Of course you're on the filter, dear Paddy! All of you ladies who've actually chatted with me from KAT-TUN fandom are already on it...this shout out is only for those who have never commented but who may be interested.
