Today we are a bit scattered

Ha! Yes, the royal "we." Today is a real grab-bag.

1. Yeterday, Neil Gaiman linked to 'Wired' Magazine's six word short short story collection in which they asked many different writers for submissions...the collection is fascinating!

2. The slightly absurd: Wanna watch alien tv?3. I was reading some Japanese poetry this morning. Which always ( Read more... )

Thanks for letting me know - I fixed the first link, which was a transposed letter in the coding. *rolls eyes at self*

Glad you like the picspam! I thought he was sooo adorable. :D

Yes, the poetry that I was reading this morning, for the most part, was all rather angsty and melancholic, but so beautiful and evocative.

You're welcome!

*I love your icon!!!*

I was just curious because I remember Neil Gaiman since he wrote something with my all time favorite writer Terry Pratchett once I think.... and I am glad I took a look at those they were soooo funny *well all but one... *
thanks for sharing!!!*again*

Heh, you like my Dumbledore? I can never get rid of him, because I need him for the moments when I do something stupid. *grin*

What you remember is Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's Good Omens. I've read most of Neil's work and none of Terry's, so I really need to crack open Good Omens. I've had a copy sitting around for years. And I really need to read Pratchett's work as well - yet another author on my very, very long reading list. I will die before I read all the books I want to read. ;)

You are exactly right in where you identify the "dead cockroach" part. *hee* He was SO cute! I liked his imitation of his dog too. *giggle* Poor!puppy! ^_^

I loved him with the squid because I also love food and squid! *yum* So, I was jealous. *hee* I wonder what that suction-cup thing getting stuck on the roof of his mouth felt like. ;)

I agree - his sound effects for the cockroach and his doggie were hilarious! I do feel sorry for his dog, though. I'm sure she (?) must really suffer from a lack of Kame's attention.

You and I are complete agreement on Kame/squid and also the food love - and I was also jealous. I was looking at the platter and salivating as I imagined how good it must taste. The way he twisted around when the tentacled suctioned him cracked me up - as though moving his body was going to move anything in his mouth!

... detecting alien TV 0_o

LOL seeing your caps not only made me smile at Kame's cuteness, but they also made me very hungry *__* The 'eating of the live or nearly live or barely dead...squid' (LOL I love it) part was a bit =\ for me, but you're right, it was really enjoyable to watch him eat and 'umai' so happily :3 And then the squid took it's revenge but that was still cute XDD

Hope you feel better soon dearie~ green tea is delicious ♥ And I see someone is totally ready for the weekend? ;)

Thanks, dear. I appreciate the well wishes, and yes, green tea is fantastico! I'm gulping The Republic of Tea's Daily Green Tea w/honey & ginseng. Mmmmmm. :)

Glad you liked the caps! I've been wanting to cap it since I saw it a few days ago because the cuteness was really wonderful. This is why I love JE - sure, you get the ridiculous and the bizarre and even the inane, but I have so much love for these wonderful moments of hilarity and cuteness. And Kame seems to achieve this without even half-trying. ;)

Plus, I am really addicted to the sensuality of food...so watching someone as pretty as Kame look like that (you've watched it, right? There are two brief seconds where you can see his bliss)...sort of puts me over the edge. It's not often that we get to see idols in such a private moment.

And then the squid took it's revenge but that was still cute XDD

*giggles* Yes!

*laughs* Actually, I think that squid was a very special treat for Kame (the folks at Oshare-ism were so nice to him!) and that he really loved it.

You're welcome! I think he looks adorable - tired, but adorable.
