I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Kame breaks an egg into the frying pan with only one hand! Yes, I know, that's a stupid thing to notice, but it just makes me love Kame even more. Me too! I've noticed that too, and I can't do that. I always use a knife to break an egg. LOL!

You mean if they already knew when Jin read the letter in 24hTV? Or that he wrote it that way, because of the depature? He did say that he told them during or after 24hTV (can't remember exactly).

He said "during". So they must have known.

I always use two hand to break an egg and I crack on an edge somewhere - the pan, the counter, or bowl, etc. So to watch him effortlessly crack the egg on the pan and break it into the bowl with one hand just made me admire him and *jealous.* :D

I realize, I'm very cynical, so I never believed that the group was told during 24HrTV, esp. with the hours long phone call between Kame & Jin the night before the announcement (if I remember correctly). But I guess what I mean is that the letter was surprising for everyone, and for that purpose - to ease the news that he was leaving. I guess I've been really dense to not think of that before, so now I believe it.

You've lost me there. Do you think they knew before 24h TV that he would leave? But that he wrote a letter and the content of the letter was a surprise?
And that Kame and Jin did not have a phone conversation?

I am sorry, I am just trying to follow your train of thought.

I gave in - The first episode of "Tatta Hitotsu no Koi" should be waiting for me on my home computer :)

I am so glad that your cold is getting better. You are always in my thoughts.

Re : Jin: I was thinking the same from the start. Surely something must have been going on for a while. It makes one feel so sad and in a way hopeless.

I hope you like it! After you've watched the first episode, you should really read the review that nihongofrancais wrote (I linked it in an earlier post) because she does a good job of discussing many things in the episode.

Re: Jin - yes, it does make me feel sad and hopeless, unfortunately. KAT-TUN will never be the same again. But still, watching all my old clips with him makes me smile an awful lot so there is much to still enjoy!

and thank you so much for thinking of me! *hugs*

It's good to hear you're feeling a bit better! Hopefully you'll recover quickly.

You said everything I wanted to say about the dorama so eloquently - there's nothing I could add! I'm also wondering about Hiroto's fate... and I do hope the atmosphere won't become really dark.

I noticed the egg thing too! My first thought was: "I bet he learned that in some Hadaka no Shônen episode." Wouldn't it be great if he learned it from Jin who said in the last mags that he is currently into watching cooking shows and trying the recipes himself... but I guess that is just my wishful thinking.

The music really is gorgeous! Kame said it was like Titanic, referring to the tin whistle, and in some parts that is true. It reminds me a lot of Irish traditional music, which I love dearly. "Pure One" didn't leave any impression on me (I didn't even get that KAT-TUN was singing it, for a moment), though I like Oda Kazumasa a lot. Well, I always need some time before I can say whether I like or dislike something, so maybe I need to listen to it some more.

I'm sorry I'm replying so late..

Hmmm..you're giving me fic ideas with the Jin/Kame/cooking. :D

I do like the thematic music in the drama - it's very evocative and so appropriate...

No no, don't apologize! I'm often late in answering to replies, too, so I don't expect an immediate answer from my friends, too. :)

Oh, inspiration is good! I'd love to read a fic written by you about Jin and Kame and good food. What a great combination. :)

sorry.. long and naggy comment here. i watched tattakoi as well and i kinda liked the entire setting. ah.. the egg-cracking scene = love. hahah! hmmm i think the girl will die eventually *somehow by gut feeling. -___-*

and yes, ayase reminds me of jin in some weird way, and misaseba wrote how the scriptwriter started taking note of kame... it was from ryu era (yes, gokusen 2 ryu) and she took note of kame from then. this show seems to be written specially for kame and i wonder if she's a fan of ryuxhayato... >.<

24hr letter... sigh i guess jin must have planned his hiatus for a long time. i believed it started from the time he started to have extreme dark eye rings and eyebags... :(

sorry.. long and naggy comment here.

LOL - your comment wasn't long or naggy. ;) Write whatever you like around here! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. :)

You are correct that Kitagawa Eriko noticed and liked Kame first in Gokusen 2 and she specifically wrote this role in Tatta Hitotsu no Koi for him. LOL - wouldn't that be great if Kitagawa was a fan of Ryu/Hayato?

About Tatta:

The egg breaking - I noticed it too! XD I've tried doing that before and it's difficult for me because I always crack the egg too hard and so pieces of the shell will fall in even if I don't break the yolk LOL Now I open the cracked shell with both hands and don't bother trying the fancy stuff ^_^;;

Yes, Kame mentioned that the background music uses the same wind instrument that was used for Titanic's theme, it's so fitting ♥ Did you know Titanic's one of his favourite movies? X3

About Jin:

I believe that he was probably thinking about it since 17-18, as he said, and might have gotten the idea to go for it when his best friend Shirota Yuu went on a 1 week English exchange program to Australia in April... But then again that's just my guess ^_^ He said in the press conference that he told the other members after the work for the 24H TV was finished. And I've heard that he did not go for the recording for "Pure One" because he would not be around to promote it with the rest...
