A local chef's profile and FIGS!

I always like it when local restaurants get written up in non-DC publications. Tom Sietsema of the The Washington Post, my favorite restaurant critic, always recommends The Inn at Easton. (Note: I've never been there. I'd love to, though.)

Mmmmmmmm, the Inn at the Easton sounds wonderful! I read the article and started feeling a bit homesick, but also a bit proud! I would be interested in going - for the culinary experience but also to see the restored mansion and aboriginal artwork... Would be a nice outing :-)

I think it's pretty cool that he has maintained his roots to the point that he hangs aboriginal artwork. I'm just glad that there are people like him who even though they've left their homes very far behind, still try to share culture no matter where they go. Plus, he sounds like a wonderful chef.

Hahah, no, I said: Figs are one of my favorite foods in the world.

:P

I adore shellfish also - they are also one of my favorite foods in the world. :D

So the shellfish can stop crying...I don't want them to be sad for fear that I won't eat them. Poor shellfish. *hugs a clam*
