Now that I'm finally "out" regarding my dark, secret passion for KAT-TUN, I'm afraid I envision future picspams...hehehehe
Oh, and btw, stay tuned for ICONS - Anego, Nobuta wo Produce, Gokusen 2 & KAT-TUN icons are all in the pipeline. I just have to finish the batches and actually POST them. I've been so lazy about this lately. I have all these unfinished icon batches lying around.
Be well, dear, and I hope life calms down for you soon. :)

Surprisingly I was also drawn in by Kimura Takuya! It all started when I watched one of his doramas... and then another... and another... and another... yes, you get my point ^^. I loved them so much, and grew to adore Kimura as well <333 Then, long story cut short, I watched other doramas with some JE boys and.. yes... here I am now XD It never fails to amaze me how sudden it's all been... and I can't remember/imagine what I used to do with all my time that's now spent searching, downloading and fangirling ^^" But no complaints coz I'm loving it all for now ( ... )

And I gave up watching a lot of US TV shows either, much to the chargrin of some of my friends, who can't understand my fascination with the doramas. But I found it refreshing to only having to follow 9-12 episodes, and then seeing the actors in another role. And no fear of cancelletions either.

I have a love/hate relationship with the short format of doramas. I love knowing that the story has a beginning, middle, and end, and that there is often a consistent voice in terms of a single writer as well as a consistent visual style. The short format means there is a pay-off for the viewer(usually, anyway) and story-fulfillment. It also means that (as you say) we can see these actors in different roles, and in the case of Kimura, there's some decent variety.
The bad part about the short format means that when you fall in love with characters, you have to say goodbye to them. And I hate saying goodbye. :(
My friends are amusedly tolerant for the most part, but I think they secretly think I'm out of my mind. I'm half a season behind on Lost and everyone's annoyed that they can't talk about it with me yet! And yet, I'm just not in the mood to catch up...I want to ( ... )
