evan/johnny are the parents of a 1-yr-old, who has to go to the doctor and ends up getting shots. cue screaming/upset child, and the parents have to take care of him/her.

bonus points for one of the parent's reacting to the kid's screaming/crying/misc by starting to cry themselves cause they hate to see their baby all hurt.

There appears to be an obsession with baby animals in this place, especially when it comes to wallpaper. So much pastel. Nikolai’s own room does not have pastel-painted walls. Johnny only poured over baby books for hours before deciding on the color scheme that best stimulated a baby’s brain. Pastel did not make the cut. He gets that this is supposed to be calming, but really

some of my fave lines:

a girl with a scrub top covered in tiny pink and green hearts walks out and calls for them to follow her. Oh, Jesus, she’s wearing Crocs, too. And they’re orange. This actually nails one of the nurses i shadowed to a t (except her crocs were bright green)

Nikolai’s face goes perfectly blank in surprise for one second, and immediately crumbles. A mewling whine accompanies the first plump tear, followed closely by another and the outbreak of full on screams. nailed the shot to a t. :)

“It’s the rule. Ice cream after shots.” of course! :)

Oh my adorable beyond belief. The perfect blank surprise on Nikolai's little face, Johnny tearing up, Evan hugging them both. I so love Johnny's affectionate bitchiness.
