Oh, wow! This was positively gorgeous! I loved the easy banter and teasing the Doctor and Jack shared, it was beautiful.

You really made the reader feel as if they were right there with the two of them, sharing their experiences with your beautiful imagery and descriptions. I simply adored how Jack always took them back to the same pub, and the fact that they're experiencing all the wonderful traditions together is just so perfect for them. The Doctor's inner thoughts about Jack were so sweet too, you really showed how much he cares for his Captain. And that first meeting where the TARDIS brought them together was simply perfect, she really is a clever old girl, isn't she? I love her to bits. :D

I giggled when Jack challenged the Doctor to a game of pool at the end, and how the Doctor thought that it would possibly be part of the traditions they shared from then on. Thank you so much, I really enjoyed this fic, it made me smile and feel so happy to wake up to and read this morning.

Very good. I especially liked how Jack occasionally picked a place just because the Doctor liked it and how the Doctor seemed "particularly invested in making Jack happy" lately. It was very sweet.
