I love it! Little Amelia seeing right through the Doctor, Jack so hurt but them helping him heal, and the Doctor insisting that it's all right to heal, and in fact demanding that he has to try to... the three of them snuggling in bed, the reference back to The Empty Child. Awww ( ... )

Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, even though it wasn't clear that it was Amelia and not Amy. I thought the Amelia would clue people in, along with the "I bite" line, but maybe it just needs to be explicitly stated in the A/N.

Like I mentioned in my journal, I'll almost certainly be writing more in this 'verse.

I totally wouldn't put biting past grown!Amy if the situation called for it. *g*

But I see other people picked up on it right away, so maybe I'm just thick. ;)

I adore this, it's lovely and just like a fairytale, which is only proper in a story with Amelia Pond in it. :) :) :)

I absolutely loved this, though I had a similar problem with not realizing it was little Amelia. I'm a wee bit dense, I suppose, but once it clicked I started over and loved it even more :) I always did like the idea of Amelia travelling with the Doctor.

I don't think it's any problem with the story, you DID say it was AU from mid-Eleventh Hour, and you made it pretty clear that you were talking about little Amelia. I think my problem is that my brain is running a little slowly this evening, and that grown-up Amy can act like a child sometimes, so the characterisation still fits, hee.

But yes, this was fantastic - I like seeing Jack still realistically grieving and all, but with hope for things to get better. And I loved how he interacted with Amelia.

Thank you!

I think you're right about Amy acting a bit like a child. I think that's true - the first part in particular would make almost complete sense for her.

it was nice to see little Amelia again and how she interacted with the Doctor and Jack.
