So, I spent most of 2011 vacillating from candidate to candidate in the GOP primaries, flitting from one to another, jumping on this bandwagon and that. I started off not really interested in anyone - I liked some, but didn't think they had a chance; disliked others who did, and really didn't start to even think about who I'd ultimately support ( Read more... )

And that's not the first time he's said that, as though it makes a difference in whether or not I'm going to vote for him. "Okay - this guy shares my values, and I agree with his economic plan," versus, "This guy speaks Mandarin." Okay, decision made!

This is what I said when he first announced:
So, was anyone (other than the MSM) really salivating for a Huntsman candidacy? I mean - who was out there saying, "You know what the GOP Presidential field needs? Someone who worked for the Obama administration and refuses to take it on."

What is the point of this? Do we really want The McCain Campaign 2.0?

The "Romney, I guess," for me, anyway, is about wishing for a more solid conservative while recognizing that Romney can win. Not that I don't think any of the others can, but I do see that Romney is the best one to make the defeat certain. As long as he doesn't run a milquetoast campaign like McCain did (and, so far, he hasn't shown any signs of doing so).

Four more years of Obama = the end of America as we know it, and the end of freedom. I read David Limbaugh's book, and I see what he's done in just the two years prior to its publication. I read Mark Steyn's book, and it's terrifying. I'm now afraid to read any more books, even though I love Mark Levin and read his previous ones.
