American Civic Literacy Quiz. Alas, no American university averaged better than a D+ on it, and the overall U.S.-wide average was a pathetic 54%. In some universities, students did better as freshmen than as seniors, which is REALLY scary ( Read more... )

Well, I only scored 73.33%. I found myself guessing on a quite a few of them.

The economics questions just went right over my head, since I'm a total dunce when it comes to economics.

I had to take two quarters-worth of Econ for the MBA and I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.

You did better than the average college student, anyway...

I got 80%, but I have to admit that a couple of the American History and constitution ones were actually lucky guesses.

It's REALLY sad when someone who's not even American does better than most American college students on a quiz about American history.

I mean - good for you, and all. But now I'm unutterably depressed.
