American Civic Literacy Quiz. Alas, no American university averaged better than a D+ on it, and the overall U.S.-wide average was a pathetic 54%. In some universities, students did better as freshmen than as seniors, which is REALLY scary.

It is tougher than your standard meme, with a lot of philosophy, economics, and jurisprudence in addition to your standard American history.

I got 54 out of the 60 for a 90%. I guessed at some, it's true, but I knew most of what I was talking about, and, even if I didn't remember the answer (I've been away from American history classes for 20 years, after all), I remember having learned it once upon a time.
