You'll earn yourself an author specific tag once you've posted three fics to the comm. Hopenight's the moderator in charge of tags so she'll make one and apply it retroactively to your first three fics for you and it'll be up to you to use it from then on.

As for my comment on the fic:

It's good to see some angstier fic in the comm. Winn's a pairing that seems tailor made for fluff and romance, so pushing the genre boundaries is always appreciated. But a good, happy ending is always enjoyable to see :)

From a technical standpoint there's a few minor errors with spelling and grammar; the sort of stuff that won't be picked up by a spell-checker. It's nothing too severe, but I'd still recommend you find a beta for future fics as a good beta can help you fix these little problems.

(Mods: might a beta sign-up post be a possible idea? It could go alongside the links so that authors can easily find someone to beta for them. Just a humble suggestion :) )

Eeep, sorry I didn't read and comment earlier. I really liked the self-destructive nature of Finn in this, because he is someone who holds on to problems, he is someone who isn't great a dealing with things, and he certainly is someone who really resents it when his life gets turned upside down. So, in that respect, I think you really hit on a side of Finn that isn't explored enough in this corner of fandom.

I won't lie though, I did laugh a bit at how self indulgent and angsty Finn got. It reminded me of the some of the lj posts I wrote when I was an angsty teenager myself. I did like Kurt coming along and essentially picking Finn up and dusting him off, and Carole being all "you're an idiot for doing this again" was pretty cool - with a relationship like that, someone is going to speak up, right?

I tried to just kinda take the piss a bit with the angst. I mean there's so much fluff (don't got me wrong i love me some fluff) but i wanted to show that Finn's capable of some dark shit when he puts his mind to it.
And i always picture kurt as Finn's 'guide to being gay' (prompt just formed in my brain) so i sort of wanted him to be the 'i'm sick of your damn moaning get off your butt and go get some man love.' person. I wish i'd written him a bigger part, i like writing kurt.
