It's amazing how you can take such simple words and scenes and make them so heartbreaking. I liked reading through this and trying to figure out what had happened between them, where their relationship was at. You've very good at the sending the message that the specifics of what happened between two characters isn't as important as the larger effects.

That was so sad. The way you use words and phrases in your writing is inspired. It's direct but with an almost flowing quality to it.
