The redwoods are truly holy, aren't they. Standing quietly in a grove is awe-inspiring. Thank you so much for the link to the NG article.

Yes, exactly. That lovely feeling of underlying connectedness is so healing. I'm really glad the place I work now also has a garden with lots of wonderful trees (though no redwoods), so that I'm not inundated by urbanity all the time.
