I spent alllllll afternoon in the library, so when I finally made it back to the flat, I didn't really want to stay cooped up all evening, too. But I don't really have any money, so what's a girl to do ( Read more... )

Yeah. :( At least we didn't get the scary letter about lawyers and stuff this month. I just hope he doesn't get us kicked out while I'm in Europe.

Lava cakes are lovely. being on-time with rent is lovelier though

Aren't book stores wonderful? My favourite are used book stores, but I've found not everywhere has good used book stores, 'tis quite sad.

There are no good used bookstores here, but there are in D.C. proper. Though my preference when in the city is for the indie bookstores with tasty cafés/restaurants. :)

Oooh, those are good too! And if the staff is small enough, and if you can go frequently enough that they start to recognise you, and mayhap there is a cat or two in the store, but certainly something comfy to sit in whilst contemplating the many books and the thin purse, then you are getting very close to my ideal book store!
