Tonight in children's lit, we started our student presentations (augh, mine is in two weeks!). I feel your pain; the classics are classics for a reason! The general population doesn't seem to care unless there's a major Hollywood movie about it.

Exactly! They're ancient stories, but we still tell them in various forms, and it's so important to know that. It makes me so very sad that people don't know.
