Another brain-bleeding-out-my-ears day at work, so I was extra happy that today was a [Riese] day! :D

I have to say, I am annoyed with the writing and/or characters on nearly every other TV show that I watch lately. But the only thing that annoys me about Riese is how short the episodes are and having to wait two weeks between - which I am willing ( Read more... )

I was taking a break to watch this week's episode of Castle (which I find amusing, though not at all plausible, but mostly it has Nathan Fillion), and after you finish watching ABC suggests some other shows you should watch (because heaven forbid you only watch one). Tonight in children's lit, we started our student presentations (augh, mine is in two weeks!). The first presenter discussed the effect of aging in series books (so, for instance, Harry Potter, as opposed to Nancy Drew, who is perpetually the same age). Random: There is a movie called Tenure due out next year, about "a college professor compet[ing] for tenure with a hot-shot female colleague". It is apparently being filmed at Bryn Mawr (and the surrounding areas). I so have to see this movie when it comes out, however lame it is. :)

Last night I babysat a 5-year-old boy named Isaac. (He's the son of someone I worked with at the library.) It was the best job ever. I babysat for about an hour, then sent the kid to bed, and proceeded to read for two and a half hours. And I got paid for that. Awesomeness. :)

I currently have 119.3% in my Computer Information Systems class. I pwn teh computerz.
