eee, I am so twirly-happy right now! :D

I walked to the grocery store through the freezing cold and got some stuff for making tasty things later (ooh, lavvyan, they had blackberries on sale \o/ ), and then at the checkout stand they had a bunch of stockings, which set me giggling. See, they reminded me of when my mum and I went out to buy new stockings

Yay for an awesome and holiday-ish day! We have not quite gotten any snow up here yet, though my weather alert widget is reporting "red exclamation point!!!" right now, because apparently we might get an inch or two tonight.

(This is when I have to take weather alert widget aside and let it know that, in New England, one to two inches of snow does not quite merit the "red exclamation point of weather doooooom". Though I still get giddy over flurries, so. :D )

I get so excited about the holidays in December! The stupid commercialism means it's shoved down our throats from Hallowe'en onwards, which makes me a bit grumpy, but as soon as it's December I'm all excited. I just love all the winter drinks and snow and lights and yay!

I'm glad you still get giddy over flurries, too, even though you've had them all your life. I never want to stop thinking of snow as magical. :D

(Weather predictions do tend to be a bit melodramatic, don't they? And, funnily, today's forecast for here said there wouldn't be flurries 'til after midnight, and even as I sat here looking out the window at the flurries, it still said after midnight.)

Eeeee, that sounds like an awesome day!! Way to get outside and Do Stuff. I sat around all day inside playing video games and I didn't even know it snowed until Josh left for work. Sigh. I've been so laaaaaaaazy recently. I'm jealous of your great day :)

Well, my Day of Happy Glee was mostly coincidental. I mean, food is a necessity and I was grumpy on the way there 'cause it was so very cold, but the snow made it better. And then I also had to go to the library 'cause the books were all due today and I'd maxed out the renewals. And the Teaism trip was really a clever ruse to get myself away from the internets so I could get some reading done. But then there was the holiday market, so really my day was just determined to be gleeful. :D
