Archival action

One of the Smithsonian photographers was taking pictures of all the interns a few weeks ago, and he wanted "action" shots of us. Yeah, an archivist in action is not generally photographically interesting. Most of what I do is scanning and/or data entry on the computer. But I do have a few spread out-able projects, so I cobbled together some

That is a totally excellent photo! Totally beyond what I would expect from a picture taken in the workplace. (...I suppose that's how you get to be a Smithsonian photographer.)

Oh, yes, they are excellent photographers! They do artifacts and people and buildings and everything - and they make it all look fabulous. :)
