...and that series seriously needs a new title. There're more lycantropes in it than vampires and those don't even get hunted most of the time, more like the vampires do the hunting...! Erm, right. Blood Noir!
Ok, so if you like the boys and some action, you'll like it I guess. Probably enough, even though I miss the quite good plots from the beginning in the older books. Nathaniel is a top??? Really now? lycantrope (white tiger) Awe, finally some more tigers! <3
Well as mini plots go, this one was okay, quite worth my time I'd say. And we get to learn more about everyone's family! Heh. Nathaniel is a top. Read the book just for that and you won't have wasted the money. XD We get to see and know a lot of the tigers (indeed: FINALLY) and we are going to see them even more, because of stuff the Mother of all Darkness did (just by the name you's think she's related to Merry's aunt, the Queen of Air and Darkness).
Hm, ok... And I think Nathaniel as top, that would definitely be worth the whole thing. Awe, I'm sure that's great. Why are there so many books between the one I'm reading and this one??
Ooh, I liked Blue Moon. :) In fact, up to colume nine, Obsidian Butterfly, I think the books are great. Starting with Narcissus in Chains though, the focus is mostly on sex (if it's not happening, they're talking about it. A lot) and that distracts from the actual plot. The "sister series", Merry Gentry, is worse though. *laughs*
Anyway, both Blood Noir and the previous Harlequin are better than Danse Macabre, that one kinda sucked. oOx Not enough for me to regret buying it, but oh so entertaining to make fun of. ^^;; Hope I didn't spoil anything for you... though I think I managed to stay mostly spoiler free, except for the "who sleeps with whom" part, which is not really a spoiler.
Ah yes, the french vampire with the delightful tragic past. XD I call him "JC", nice and short AND I shre his initials. *laughs* I love Edward. He's my god, and I grovel at his feet. He might have started my obsession with the name "Edward". He's dangerous and competent and awesome and... *trails off* I also like Richard. He's a stupid ass most of the time, but it's not entirely his fault; deep down he's a good guy - which is part of the problem.
