I can't resist their puffy cheeks!

Current goals:
- edit fashion essay
- actually start work on zine
- do something with hair, because in its current state it's really pissing me off
- get ears pierced, though perhaps in the hols, when I have more time
- get a pet, preferably a hamster. Though, question, can you get hamsters in Brisbane/Qld?

EDIT:  Oh no!  Oh god that's so depressing

hair, uni, pets

Aren't hamsters the same thing as guinea pigs and/or gerbils? Crazy English rodents, I've got no idea really. It is disappointing to see that monkeys are prohibited though.

What are you doing up so early, anyway?

No! They're definitely not the same. Guinea pigs are not really my thing, they haven't got the big cheeks. Guinea pigs aren't nocturnal like hamsters are (note: reason I was up so early = insomnia). Unfortunately formatting is playing up, so this will have to do ( ... )

I totally agree!

Though I fear they'd be too skittish.

I know! I posted it before the pic had downloaded completely, when I went back to look at it, it was twitching at me! Scary.

Guinea pigs are just plain stupid, no matter how fancy they are. I lived with a girl who had some and they're plain retarded. Probably due to inbreeding. I know someone else who had them, and the stupid things comitted suicide.

Get a couple of mice. They're what all the cool kids have. Rats are okay too I guess, if you're after a tiny pet that may be inclined to show a bit of affection towards you.

I'm actually going mouse shopping sometime very soon - Carlotta needs some company, she's all lonely. You're welcome to come along.

They commit suicide? Weird. How? If I can find a guinea pig that looks cute I'll get it, but I hate how frantic and scared of everything they are.

Sure, I'd love to go mouse shopping :D Though let me know a few days beforehand. Can't guarantee I'll buy anything, but I do definitely need to look for a pet. Are rats more affectionate?

Hi,

In regards to going out, Sunday really isn't good for me. I have to go to a baby shower at 11, netball at 3, and dinner at my grandmother's at 6, so I am pretty full up. Especially since I have to get up at 5:30 on Monday.

I don't mind doing something tomorrow night, or Thursday night, any time Friday or Saturday day or night, or next Tuesday night. Pretty much Sunday Monday and Tuesday are my full days.

Anywho, any time suits Lachlan since he's on holidays!

Righto. That's okay about Sunday. Unfortunately Wednesday night I have a lecture/tute til 9pm. Thursday I have classes all day and that night Chris has fencing and I know he really wants to see Lachlan. Friday night I have the Whitlam's concert and classes all day. Hmm. Saturday night, I think I'd like to sleep off the night before to be honest. Tuesday night would be okay though, so long as Chris is willing to skip his 7-8pm lecture. I can ask him today and get back to you.

Btw, who should we invite to this thing?
