I wrecked my truck a few weeks ago. I was rushing home to do some urgent Navy business, and never made it there. No injuries, but a trailer-hitch was shoved through my oil cooler and radiator. I wrote off the Amigo, and bought a slightly used Nissan Frontier ( Read more... )

I have to check out my electronic jacket this week. Odds are good that I will have to put in a package. I reenlisted in theatre, and my NOSC had done absolutely nothing about it when I got back. They finally closed out my record, but I will have to make sure that everything got in there.

I'm perfectly fine with staying as a 1st for a while. Making chief right now would be pretty intimidating, actually.

I finally was able to see my record on BUPERS, and there is fuck-all in there. My package is going to look like a phone book. I'm not sure that I should even bother this time around.

Too many pages is bad, as it reflects that you're not prepared and on top of your record. But a half-dozen, including the best things you want them to see, is fine.
