PETER AND SUSAN AND EDMUND IN SPARE OOM. AND THEY ARE SMILING. THEY ARE SMILING IN SPARE OOM. AND THEY ARE HAPPY EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE NOT IN NARNIA. THIS IS EXCELLENT. Sooo, having seen the film, we already know the context behind this (and I thought the Lucy-dream was well done too!). But I'm really interested in what you said here. I've never been keen on the fanon view that the Pevensies were perpetually miserable and wretched living in Spare Oom, and I've always liked the idea of each of them learning to love who they were in this world. Can I ask for more of your thoughts on this? :p
(And I hope you don't mind that I'm going back to your old posts!)
