Looks like the flow of New Feathers is finally slowing down. The usual cycle got pretty messed up for some reason. I wonder if it'll go back to normal at the start of next month. Anyway, now's a good time for me to open up the Blue Rogue applications again ( Read more... )

Pleased to meet you, Labrador! Got any special skills that could help the Rogues somehow?

I'm still here.

Hey, congratulations on winning the pageant, Emil. You earned it.

I'm not sure that's really a compliment.

Oh, come on. With so many people entering, it's still a victory to be proud of. We all know you're not really a girl.

Well, I only had to look around the house to see if you were still around, but thanks for replying. Speaking of which, the place is getting pretty crowded, isn't it?

Yeah, now that Rutee is living with us now! By the way, did you meet her yet?

Yeah, I met her.

It's a good thing we've got six bedrooms. We've still got a spare. For now, anyway.

I'm still here! But... I guess you already knew that, huh?

...Loopers?

Oh, uhm... They're these creatures from my world. They can float and evade your weapon with ease, so you need to really put effort into fighting them. The only downside to training your aim on those things is that they run away as soon as they get sick of you trying to hit 'm.

Oh, geez. Those sound like a pain to fight.

I prefer monsters I can actually hit. You can't really afford to let monsters survive when you're fighting them in my world, because they'll kill you.

Loopers are fairly harmless. They can cast a big of magic when they want to, but that's about it. There's bigger monsters you do need to kill, though, but those don't have a Looper's evasive skills.

Hey, here checkin' in with you, Vyse!

And "Loopers"? What are those?

Excellent! That's another name I can mark down.

Loopers are small, floating creatures. They're excellent targets for practice because they can avoid your blade with ease. You need to really put effort into your aim to hit them.

How's the list turnin' out so far?

And those sound really awesome, like you're always up for a challenge when you're facin' them!

Right now I've got four names checked. I should end up around fifteen, so I've still got a ways to go. It's still early, though. I'm sure everyone else will respond soon enough.

They're a challenge, alright! The problem is making sure they don't run away halfway through practice.
