Good idea or bad idea?

Cut my hair short (like boy short), spike it, and dye it neon blue.

I realise this will make me look like a complete dyke but. Damn it sounds awesome.

Neon blue, personally. I don't really like the look of most over-the-counter dyes, and getting a professional dye job and constant touch-ups can be pretty costly -- so most bright "rainbow" colors on hair end up looking like washed out poopy (unless people have the money to spend on constantly retouching the color).

Oh, perfect! Then I'd say go for it :D Of course, this is coming from someone who dyed her hair quite regularly, so I may be biased... ;D

But, a word of caution, don't do it for too long without letting your hair rest. Otherwise, you can really damage your hair. But by too long, I'm not sure how long we're talking, because I was able to go for about a year before anything happened. Actually, for most of the time, my hair was ultra!silky. It wasn't until I got it professionally done that I broke it.

Haha, I used to dye my hair all the time in like. 5-7th grade. And my mom dyes it, so we have those nice ~dyed hair~ shampoos.

I've had my hair streaked pink twice, blue and black stripes once, and the ends dyed black twice.
