Wood, a hammer, nails, and a saw. [Oh!] And a sail. [And then there was that other thing he spoke to Allen about...]

Tools you'll find at a tool shop. Maps you can find at gas stations.

[He shrugged, crouching down so he's not looming like a six foot vulture.]

I don't know where you'll find a sail though. And you need a better disguise. People will notice you in a second.

[He looks even more confused at the comment on his appearance. He looks himself over, then raises an eyebrow at Alex. HE LOOKS TOTALLY NORMAL...!] What kind of disguise?

[Alex gets that confusion. After all, his 'sister' had to explain to him why it was bad he looked like a walking corpse.]

You need clothes that are normal for here. And probably to hide your ears.

For what?

[BUT THESE ARE THE HERO'S CLOTHES even if they are a bit inconvenient and itchy... And Alex did already mention his ears might be considered strange here.

Cars. [He frowns like this is obvious. C'mon Link. Cars. You throw them at helicopters.

Although the clothes thing makes Alex think. He gets 'clothes' by just shifting his biomass around. Normal people got clothes from...?]

...What's that? [Boat is the only true method of transportation!!

They're for getting around. On land. They have wheels and engines and people drive them.

[He's looking at Link like he grew four heads. This is pretty rudimentary stuff.]

You're not gonna be able to walk in a clothes store though. The cops here are on edge and jumpy as fuck. [Alex totally didn't try out his 'Patsy' ability on some hapless citizen who is now sitting in jail or anything.]
