HOW MUCH FUN was the return to season 1, tonewise? I came over all nostalgic. And the letting-Sam-drive moment at the end - I swear, I almost levitated off the couch. NAW BOYS.

I KNOOOOOOOW! I understand we can't COMPLETELY forget the Apocalypse and Mytharc, but it's so NICE when we get these callbacks to happier days.

Even if they are a helluva lot more angsty now.

Hey, great to see your comments on this. I agree with like 99% of it. I kinda thought the "pretend don't pretend" line was pretty characteristic of Dean. He said it he knows Sam heard and he doesn't care. He's just not going to stop everything to address their problems.
But Yes the teaser rocked in it's epic awesmoness. loved the csi spoof, had to stop the dvr and giggle and then watch it again, and of course giggle more.

It might have been characteristic of him, yes, but it still hurt. I was hoping that even if there was some growing and backtracking to do they weren't quite *that* far off course. My unhappiness is more about how I misread the situation.

I watched it fourteen times the night it aired, and have gone back to watch it another three dozen or so since then. :D

My only dilemma with that is WHICH PART AM I MOST EXCITED FOR?

I still haven't figured it out. :D
