Thank you very much for sharing all the beautiful photos! India really looks amazing - the colours, the wonderfully decorated buildings and temples, the elephants and the pretty mist over the hills... I'm glad you had such a great holiday. ^_^

And I agree with you about the social and political problems they still have there: it's very disturbing and one can only hope that the situation will improve over the next years.

And comparing the photos: okay, you have gained a little weight but I think it still looks good and in my experience, nobody gets to be that skinny once you're out of your teens (unless you have an eating disorder and that's not healthy). You're definitly NOT fat, you look pretty, so relax. ^_^

I am so plad you like the pics. If I say the hue of Eygpt is golden, then India must be sienna.

Some of my friends cannot appreciate the beauty of the country because she is too undeveloped. I like to visit places that look foreign and ancient to me 'cos my hometown is modern enough.

I think the biggest hindrance of her civilization is the caste. It's the most harshest thing I've ever encountered. The unfairness in that system is even more ridiculous than that in the muslim. And women in India are probably more worthless than a piece of crap.

Thanks. I think I may have eating disorder back then. But I missed that legs and that waist! Now they are all round and thick I can't even wear jeans.

I agree about the colours, you described that very well.

I know what you mean - and I think people who complain that India is undeveloped forget that it had a very sophisticated high-developed culture thousands of years ago, at a time when "modern" nations like European countries or the USA where still stuck almost in the stone age or didn't even exist. And I agree, there is so much technology around us in modern cities it's wonderful to see places that don't look like that but like something very old and mysterious like form an old legend or fairy tale.

You're right, it's a very extreme system and the way women or people of low cast are treated is frightening. They will have to change that some day in order to solve many of the country's problems.

Yes, being skinny has it advantages - there are some clothes that really only look good if you have thin legs and a very flat belly. Fashion is crazy... ~_^

Young Britney was not thin, Beyonce is not skinny as, but looked/look very nice in sexy outfits! How come I look hideous in a thick figure?! Life is so unfair. *pout*

Imagine how people lived in those Indian palaces like...300 years ago? I wish I could go to India and Egypt...the latter used to be a usual tourist spot like Turkey, but due to military conflicts and political upheavals very few European people risk to go there. And imagine if those historical monuments get damaged by fanatics...

*sigh* I really find a lot similarities between Egypt and India. Both have great ancient civilization, both are mainly muselim, both have frequent internal strife, both are hot (LOL), etc.

Egypt was such a MUST-go country. I love her so much. But the military and political issues really mess her up so badly.

No wonder there's always some list to suggest ppl to go somewhere within XX years. So many great places and spots can be easily destroyed by nature, or human
