So as I have mentioned in a previous post, I've visited India last Easter.

For a developing country with such a spendid ancient civilization and alluring folkways like India, the focal point of her vistors must not be about luxury but on her abundant antiquities, like temples, mausoleums or relics.
So I was not disappointed to the trip 'cause I was introducted to many famous scenio spots and architecture.
I enjoyed what she presented to us tourists -- the best part of the country -- her culture, religion, history and arts. She worths to visit and visit again.

No disrespect to the country but I am perfectly aware about the caste system, class differentiation, sexual discrimination, religious conflicts, corruption and all the social problems there. It's sad because these rottenness ruin the impression on the outsiders. India could be much much lovelier than what the world now thinks she is.

Me in the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) of Amber Fort, Japiur

India looks like a mysterous beauty masked in a reddish veil, and ornamented with colorful jewels. Everything looks earthy and generally washed by red dust due to their red soil and fondness of pink.
Heard that Edward VII, Prince of Wales was so fond on pink that the resisdents had to paint the whole city to welcome him. It is why Jaipur also known as "The City of Pink".

Humayun's Tomb in Delhi. Beautiful edifice. I think there's so much details going on inside the chamber, but it was too hot and too crowd I barely saw anything.

Elephant ride in the Amber Fort, Jaipur.
Exciting experience as the elephant was two-storey height itself, so when it jolted over the road that build on the edge of a cliff... pretty jouncy.

Living on the houseboats on the Dal Lake near Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir.
The houseboat was elegantly carpeted and decorated with carved wood paneling and furniture.
Tourists could travel to the jetty by a small wooden boat called shiikara. There are also a small village with market, and a lotus garden on the other side of the lake.

Sorry for not being informative about the spots. I forget most of them and I don't wanna search again.
Anyway, I think I will definitely re-visit this gorgeous country very soon.

The following pics are not relevant to India 'cos they are from Eygpt 6 years ago.
I am posting them because I want you to know how skinny I used to be.
So if you wonder if I had successfully lose any weight last year. No, I haven't lose a pound.
(Faces are covered because I feel naked without eye makeup.)
