sorry i was exaggerated about "every couple". I knew you did mean it that way. "Showing off" describes their behavior perfectly :) Verlaine would lust over Bosie, perhaps. Why was Rimbaud so fond of Verlaine?
"Your mind is almost as ugly as your body." That may be the meanest thing I've ever heard or dare think you can say to someone. It cuts on so many levels. If someone said that to me, I am sure I would break into many pieces. I can imagine sitting there in the aftermath of those words and slowly bleeding out from the harsh critique.
I always enjoy the film Total Eclipse and can't get enough of Arthur and Paul.
I don't understand Arthur and Paul's relationship at first, 'cos I used to associate love with happiness/pleasure. Now I sort of getting the allure of destruction.
I found this post by searching for the quote "Your mind is almost as ugly as your body"... their relationship is extremely complex and I'm not sure I can even figure it out. It certainly goes in the "obsessive/crazy" love category and well that type of passion always intrigues me.
Hello~ I've just watched this and I don't think I can properly reconcile the Leo then and the Leo now... But that ramble aside, I was just wondering if you might know any fanfictions for this movie? I found one on FF.net and it was only one and I'm dying for more...
Hi! Leo changed ALOT these years. Sorry I don't know any fanfics of this movie 'cos I never ship Verlaine/ Rimbaud. Have you try google it? Just type their names along with "NC-17" or something.
Yeah... Gone is the baby fat and here is the rugged, tan handsome fella who looks no longer lean and bean stalk-y, but stocky. I miss the lean though... Hrmm... Now there's a thought. Thanks! :)

Sorry, very lame. It grows a bit on me in the second watch. I am more used to seeing this kind of relationship.
Do you think Rimbaud really love Verlaine, though??
P.S.: I am still not tired to shout: "LEO WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Do you love me?"
"Put your hand on the table."
*stab*
*scream*
It's a bit too much for me to witness in rl.
Assume they were communicable and admired each other's work, what do you think if Oscar Wilde met Arthur Rimbaud, Paul Verlaine met Bosie Douglas?
