“How come you don’t eat your birthday cake, Kyu?”
“It’s too sweet, Hyungie, too much cre-,” Kyuhyun blinked his eyes.
“Hyunggg!!”
“Teheee, sorry, Kyu, but you look more adorable with those crème on your nose.”
“Besides, nothing beats cake’s taste, I love it as much as I love pumpkin,” Sungmin giggled, “And, it’s a birthday cake!”

“Jongwoonie son saeng nim, may I ask you something?”
“Yup, sure, Kyu. What is it?”
“Ermmm… Jongwoonie son saeng nim is Ryeowookie son saeng nim’s friend, right?”
“Ye-Yes, why?” Jongwoon scrathed his hair.
“What will son saeng nim give to Ryeowookie son saeng nim as a birthday gift?”
“Birthday gift?” Kyuhyun nodded.
“Something that Ryeowookie son saeng nim would like, Kyu.”
“Such as…?”
“Hm… Ryeowookie son saeng nim loves cute stuffs and recently he does really love giraffe, so maybe I’ll give him a giraffe plushie,” Jongwoon nodded his head and he’ll remember to give it to Ryeowook on his next birthday.
Kyuhyun thought if he should give Sungmin hyung a pumpkin plushie or a rabbit plushie, but then he shook his head. ‘Minnie hyung must already have lots of plushies.’ He sighed.
“Is it not good enough for a gift, Kyu?” Jongwoon looked at Kyu not sure why his little student sighing.
“It’s really nice, Jongwoonie son saeng nim, but what if Ryeowookie son saeng nim already had a giraffe plushie?”
Silence…
“Oh!” Jongwoon snapped as he thought of a brilliant idea.
“What is it, son saeng nim??”
“It’s simple, Kyu,” Jongwoon smiling proudly, “Every birthday should have a birthday cake! So, you can give a birthday cake as a gift!”
“Nothing beats cake’s taste, I love it as big as I love pumpkin.”
“Oh!” Kyuhyun suddenly remembered. “Okay, son saeng nim! Thank you!”
“You’re welcome, Kyu! May son saeng nim know whom you’ll give the cake to?”
“Sungmin hyung,” he blushed.
“Ah I see~!” Jongwoon chuckled remembering Ryeowookie once told him how Sungmin always talks about adorable Kyuhyun to him.
Silence…
“Oh!” Jongwoon said it again.
“What’s wrong, Jongwoonie son saeng nim?”
“Why don’t you become Sungmin’s birthday gift?” Jongwoon’s eyes sparkled as he knew it would be a fantastic idea.
“Hm… I think giving Sungmin hyung a cake is enough, son saeng-“
“No no no, listen to Jongwoonie son saeng nim, okay, Kyu? You’ll be Sungmin’s best and cutest gift ever! I can help you with that,” Jongwoon grinned.
He whispered to Kyu what he was planning to do.
“Annyeong, Jongwoon-ssi,” Mrs. Cho came to pick up his son, “Sorry I’m late to pick Kyuhyunnie.”
“Ne, it’s okay, Mrs. Cho, but could you hold on for a minute? I need to get something for Kyu to take home.”

Sunday morning, January 1st 2012.
“Knock, knock!”
“Good morning, Eomeoni…” Kyuhyun greeted Mrs. Lee. He yawned.
“Morning, dear,” she patted his head, “You looked so cute, Kyuhyunnie,” she smiled seeing Kyuhyun.
“Thank you, Eomeoni… Hyungie hasn’t wake up yet, right?”
“He’s still sleeping, don’t worry, Kyu,” she moved to talking to Mrs. Cho, “Kyuhyun must be so sleepy at this hour.”
“He's willing to do all of this surprise, so let him be. I left Kyunnie with you today and we’re really sorry for disturbing you so early in the morning,” Mrs. Cho said.
“Don’t be. I’m thankful though our Kyuhyunnie wants to do this,” Mrs. Lee took Kyuhyun in his hand, “So, let’s surprise Sungmin now, Kyu?” She smiled.
Kyuhyun agreed.

Kyuhyun sneaked into Sungmin’s room. There, he stood in a cake plushie costume, almost drown in it, while he was holding a birthday cake - a pumpkin birthday cake.
He grinned seeing his lovely Hyungie moved a bit in his bed with bunny plushie in his hand.
He took a single crème from the cake with his forefinger, putting it on Sungmin’s nose.
“Ermmm-“ Sungmin squeaked. He blinked his eyes slowly.
“Smells sweet…”
When he finally awaked, he sat on his bed and blinked his eyes again, “Kyunnie…?”
“Happy birthday, Minnie hyung!”
Silence…
“Kyuhyunnie so cuteee!!” He jumped at Kyuhyun, giving a big hug to his cake-Kyu.
The real birthday cake flew away to the floor and both of them fell on the floor.
Sungmin still giggling happily above Kyuhyun who was trying to move and stand again.
Sungmin tried to move until he could see Kyuhyun’s face. His hands now circled at Kyuhyun’s neck while crème on his nose poking Kyuhyun’s lips.
“Too sweet, Hyungieee!!”
“I am, Kyunnie.”
“But, my cake is sweeter than me, like a lottt-“
Sungmin licked the crème and he kissed the blushed cake-Kyu.
